  Rick, his family and all his staff did a wonderful job yesterday for the funeral of my late wife. They were extremely professional and compassionate. Rick's experience helped to guide us through this very difficult time and the cost was less than other options. Everyone commented on how beautiful the service was.

  I would like to thank Rick, Melissa and the staff at Barnes for their patience and care in the planning of my mom's funeral service. As the family, we meet with them at a time when our thoughts are not clear - we're very emotional. We have many questions and concerns and they were wonderful in answering all of these for us. The day of the service, you are able to arrive and have no worries - it is your time to remember your loved one and visit with those paying respects. The celebrant - Phil Smith - has a way of meeting with you to discuss your loved one and then is able to deliver a service that is very personal, almost as if he knows the individual. I am very grateful for the wonderful care we received from the staff at Barnes. Many thanks - the Bruce Family.

  Words can’t convey our heartfelt gratitude for your kindness and gentle guidance during a time when we were overwhelmed with grief for our beloved mother/grandmother. Right from the start when we first let you know that the situation was grave, you indicated that you would take care of everything and would contact us at the appropriate time. During our meetings, you welcomed us as though we were family. We never felt rushed or pressured and all of your suggestions were valid and most helpful. No detail was deemed too insignificant and, knowing this, we could rest assured that everything would be done beautifully. Thank you to everyone involved. You made a difficult time culminate into a memorable occasion for all who cared and loved her.

  I know if something happened to a loved one in my family or even myself I would want Barnes Memorial Funeral Home to be funeral home chosen as I know they will look after everything with the utmost dignity and respect. You are a person to them, not just a number like the larger corporate funeral homes.

  From arriving at my parents home after my passed passed in the middle of the night, till the time my mom was interned we received compassionate, caring, professional service from Rick. Words can not begin to express my gratitude and appreciation for all he did. His words at my mothers graveside were touching and the poem that was read suited who and what my family is all about. Thank you for being you, you made a very difficult time very serene for my father, husband, daughter and I.
